Looking to rehome Siberian husky before she has to go to the animal shelter in December. She will be six years old on January 1st. Her name is Genesis. Located in Oceanside/ San Diego area. She is a fully healthy active dog. All of her Vaccines are up to date. We usually go on three walks a day for about 20 minutes each. She is a cuddler when. She normally sleeps on the ground beside my bed but in the mornings she hops up and lays with me giving me some affection. She is trained to go outside when she has to use the bathroom. She can sit and shake on command. She is mainly a house dog but she likes to play outside too.She likes to get in the ocean when i take her to the beach. She explores by sniffing everything as we go on hikes. She would still be pushing when we would go on hikes 10+ miles long. She rarely barks maybe once a week because she wants to go on a walk or wants attention. Dosnt bark at the neighbor’s dog while the neighbor’s dog barks at her.
When we come into contact with another dog while walking sometimes she wants to dominate the other dog and displays an aggressive attitude towards the dog. I pull her away and keep walking or wait until they pass for safety. Genesis is obsessed with people’s food.
She is stubborn at times and doesn’t like to be manhandled. She cooperates by coming by having the leash in your hand as if you are going on a walk or with a treat. She has a mind of her own and is very smart. I left my window a crack open and when I was leaving she jumped out and tried to come with me. On occasion she does the husky talk sounds like a seal at times it is funny. Genesis has so much love to give to people. She looks at you with her bright blue eyes and tries to understand emotion. She has been an emotional support to me. Genesis is a happy sweet dog not spayed. I am leaving for the Navy in December and am sad to leave her.
